Driver runs the load

They get a push, hit pre-trip, snap the BOL at pickup, GPS auto-tracks the trip, and they POD at delivery. Everything lands on the same thread.

What is a trucking TMS?+
A Transportation Management System (TMS) is the software a trucking company uses to dispatch loads, assign drivers and equipment, track shipments, manage paperwork (rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs), and calculate driver pay. BILoads is a TMS built specifically for US carriers running between 5 and 100 trucks — the segment most TMS vendors ignore.
How does BILoads handle rate confirmations?+
Upload the PDF the broker sent you and BILoads extracts load number, broker, factor, pickup, delivery, dates, weight, rate, and special instructions automatically using OCR. Review the parsed data in three seconds and the load is created. No more retyping rate cons at 11 pm.
Do drivers need a special device or ELD?+
No. The BILoads mobile app runs on any iPhone or Android device the driver already owns. GPS tracking is built into the app and stays on while the load is active — no separate ELD device, no extra hardware costs. If you already have an ELD for hours-of-service compliance, BILoads runs alongside it.
Can I import loads from DAT or Truckstop?+
You can upload the rate confirmation PDF brokers send you after booking on DAT or Truckstop — BILoads OCRs the PDF and creates the load in seconds. Direct API integrations with the load boards are on the roadmap.
How is BILoads different from Samsara or Motive (KeepTruckin)?+
Samsara and Motive are ELD/safety platforms — they focus on hours-of-service compliance, vehicle telemetry, and dashcams. BILoads is a TMS — it focuses on the operations side: dispatching loads, paperwork, driver pay, and broker billing. The two complement each other; many of our customers run both.
How does driver pay get calculated?+
When a load is created, you set the driver pay rule once: % of freight, $/mile, or flat $/load. As soon as the driver marks the load delivered, BILoads calculates the pay using actual miles from GPS (not estimated miles) and posts it to the payroll page. You review, approve, and pay — no spreadsheets.
Is BILoads HIPAA, DOT, or SOC 2 compliant?+
BILoads is built on US infrastructure (Railway, Cloudflare R2 for documents) with row-level multi-tenant isolation. We're DOT-friendly (the data you'd produce in a DOT audit — driver logs, BOLs, PODs, mileage — is all exportable). SOC 2 Type 1 is on the roadmap once we exit beta.
Does BILoads integrate with QuickBooks or my factor?+
Today we export to CSV — push to QuickBooks Online or your factor's intake email. Native QuickBooks + RTS / Apex / Triumph integrations are next on the roadmap.
What does BILoads cost?+
